Rotational Post for NTS / PICO / NICU

We are very excited to announce a newly developed 18 month rotational Senior Clinical Fellow post with six months each in paediatric intensive care, neonatology and neonatal transport.

The Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel provides one of the largest acute paediatric services and paediatric trauma services in London with over 110 paediatric and neonatal, surgical and medical beds. The hospital is the tertiary referral centre for paediatric medical specialities (endocrinology, gastroenterology, haematology, oncology and respiratory medicine), surgical specialities and provides the regional neonatal unit with neonatal surgery and the London-wide Neonatal Transfer Service (NTS).

The Paediatric Critical Care Unit has 6 beds and provides paediatric intensive care and high dependency care for children in the North-East of London. The Royal London Hospital is also the base for London’s Air Ambulance, so the unit has a particular interest and experience in paediatric trauma.

This post is a fantastic opportunity for doctors training in paediatrics or anaesthetics to gain a broad based experience in critical care and neonatal transport at a busy London centre alongside a full educational programme and opportunities for audit, quality improvement projects and research.
